Portrait Photographers

I should first say that I don't have a huge knowledge when it comes to photographers. I often don't have favorite artists, but favorite works, so this was a fun experience to go and look for exceptional artist.

I use Deviantart.com as a way to look for living breathing artist that are not always recognized for their art outside of the internet. One person that I like to watch is Hart-Worx (http://hart-worx.deviantart.com and www.hart-worx.com) He has a great talent of creating emotional portraits. My favorite work of his is a photo of his dad, to me he created a hero like father, who is both cool and stern.  

Another photographer I follow is Shiroang (http://shiroang.deviantart.com/) Shiroang is a photographer that mostly photographs Cosplay (short for "costume play", is an activity in which participants wear costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea from a work of fiction.-wikipedia) She captures people when they are being someone else, which I like. However one of my favorite photos of hers is a photo of her friend, simply labeled 'Max' 

Lastly Dastardly Dave (https://www.facebook.com/DastardlyDavePhotography). I love his photos because he has a wonderful choice of models. He chooses powerful looking women, usually with tattoos, and photographs them in a brilliantly sexy way.
